Networking – A Great Way To Do Business!

Every day of our lives we network with other people. It is the way we meet our future partner, make friends and develop our future potential. Networking too, applies to the business world and in theory opens doors for business opportunity and growth. But this is where the problem begins.

Most of us are notoriously bad at developing the potential of business networking to the full. Too often the Networking event – usually in pleasant surroundings with food and drink supplied – is not seen as an extention of the workplace but a venue to make and meet old acquaintances.

To be successful at Networking and to be able to generate real opportunities for future business growth takes proper planning and preparation. Knowing how to ’work the room’ is a skill that can be taught, how to follow up correctly the contacts you have made (often a big failing), how to turn an employer’s investment in such activity into a tangible return.

That’s what this course is all about.

’Networking – A Great way To Do Business!’ is a half-day course in which the particpants will learn how to prepare, how to present their services, how to „work the room” and how to follow up the contacts they have made. This is a course where all will be required to take part in an interactive session.

The course should be attended by all who need to Network to develop their business contacts and sales opportiunities.

The course is presented by Paul St Pierre, the Founder and Co-Organiser of 3BC, the Business Breakfast Networking Organisation of which Magna Lingua is a member.
